“As a well-respected and reliable security company, we have worked with a number of prestigious clients across the East of England, such as the NHS, Colchester City Council, Colchester United FC, Cambridge University, Essex County Cricket Club…” From ‘prestigious’ to ‘the dregs: ‘Zed’ were out working with the Essex and Suffolk Hunt in September 2025. Oh dear. Suffolk Action for Wildlife (SAF) found the ‘well-respected’ company protecting the hunt while they were illegally cubbing after a tiny meet of just six riders set off from Gosbeck Village Hall. To quote SAF on X, “Security were out again, though they seemed confused as to why they were there.” If Zed are confused, here’s something they (or their genuinely prestigious clients) really ought to consider: a security company providing services that facilitate illegal hunting, such as monitoring an area to deter law enforcement or providing personnel to assist illegal hunting, could be considered ‘unlawful assistance’…
