“Offering a warm welcome and timeless charm, the Thurlestone Hotel holds a unique appeal among Devon hotels…” From our POV it’s hard to see why the word ‘unique’ is being used at all as the Thurlestone appears to us to be just another venue for hunt meets in a county overrun with venues willing to cater to hunts. This time it is the Dartmoor Hunt. The Thurlestone hosted the January 2024 Hunt Ball of the Dartmoor Hunt and they were back again (as noted by Plymouth and West Devon Hunt Sabs) almost exactly a year later in January 2025…
