The Rake says that it is “the modern voice of classic elegance and the champion of discreet luxury, providing the world’s finest luxury menswear and daily editorial.” It claims to offer “an expertly curated offering of tailoring, shirts, accessories, footwear, luggage and watches, as well as exclusive collaborations with the most brilliant artisans and brands in the world.” What on earth is it doing dirtying itself with a photoshoot (for an editorial?) of one of the Country’s most unpleasant hunts – the Wynnstay? Perhaps visitors to this site could ask the Rake, but having already gone to the Brynkinalt Estate to take photos (presumably Ian ‘Clean Ian’ Jones, the sieg heling Wynnstay supporter wasn’t invited), the Wynnstay were parading around for them again on 10 Sept 2024 as the attached image shows. Even the really uninformed can’t possibly believe that the Wynnstay are ranked amongst the ‘most brilliant artisans and brands in the world’ surely. The Rake, what are you playing at…
