Guns are positioned across up to 10 pegs in grassland and woodland valleys, with iconic drives…selected by our experienced full-time gamekeeping team.” Once self-described as “Kent’s best kept secret” Holborough was auctioned as part of a ‘dispersal sale’ due to “retirement and change of management” in March 2025. Rebranded under new owners, the ‘shoot’ is now listed on GunsOnPegs as ‘Holborough Simulated Shoot’ and open “under the expert leadership of our newly appointed Head Gamekeeper”. The shooting site also says that “Game Days are available from 150 birds to 400 birds day” and the updated Holborough website still lists pheasants and partridge (“Our partridge are presented from nearly 600 acres of farmed arable land”) which to us doesn’t sound like it’s just clays being shot. In the interest of fairness, we have requested clarification…
