“A family run company specialising in the production of English Fruit Gin Liqueurs and London Dry Gin. Our aim is to make great seasonal drinks based on traditional recipes and using British fruit.” Foxdenton’s Managing Director is Nick Radclyffe, who says in his profile that “having produced fruit gins at home for many years, he took a bottle with him shooting”. In an old (2016) interview in Shooting UK, Mr Radclyffe says that his shooting was “all roughshooting to begin with, often down in Cornwall, shooting snipe and plover”, but at the time his best shooting experience was in France when “one day was spent shooting pheasants and the second shooting wild boar.” Foxdenton was an exhibitor at the 2025 National Shooting Show. If gin is your thing, it’s worth noting that there are hundreds of gin distilleries in England (with the number of UK distilleries more than doubling in the last five years), and not all of them were born out of people enjoying killing birds and mammals.
