“The aim and purpose of this website is to provide you with an overview of the practice areas of David J. O’Meara & Son LLP Solicitors. Given the longevity of the firm and the broad range of experience of our partners and staff, we are confident that we have the necessary skills and expertise to assist you with your particular concern…” Our aim and purpose is listing business owners with links to fox hunting and bird shooting, and it’s the former which the O’Meara family have extensive ‘experience’ of.  The 2025 Irish Field hunting directory lists David O’Meara as joint-secretary of Duhallow Hunt, and a report in the 23 December 2024 pro-hunt Irish Field report about the Duhallow fox hunt stated that “The rest of the whippers-in are officially all amateur, but are more professional than most. The team are led by Mallow solicitor and Duhallow stalwart Kevin O’Meara, whose brother David has been hunt secretary since 1989.”

(We are unclear at the moment whether there are familial links, but Peter O’Meara is a former Duhallow Master of Foxhounds (and a partner in property firm Savills) and often hunted with his sons, his wife Hilary was on the organising committee of the 2020 Hunt Ball, and a 2023 Irish Field report noted that Fiona O’Meara (who had recently married into the family) had taken over as Duhallow treasurer.)
