And if clients are bored shooting holes in the non-native introduced pheasants and Red-legged partridges that estates up and down the UK are serving up, then Craigadam offers its customers “duck (mallard, teal and widgeon), woodcock, snipe, wood pigeon and rabbits.” I mean who wants to kill yet more pheasants when there’s the opportunity to kill birds of conservation concern like Red listed Woodcock and Amber listed Common Snipe…And seriously, we might sound a little like stick in the muds, but (see the attached image) is it really necessary to provide so much alcohol on a shoot (sloe gin, champagne, wine, and port) – aren’t shooters already numbed enough to what they’re doing?
