Chiddinglye “is a private home set in a magical garden in the middle of a working farm on a plateau in the High Weald, intersected by deep wooded valleys with sandstone outcrops. Chiddinlye likes to promote its green credentials (The Captain Paul Watson Foundation was present at the Into the Wild festival in August 2025 which was held at Chiddinglye Farm on the estate), but a bit of digging finds that even though in an AONB and SSSI (and not mentioned on their website) the estate is part of the shooting industry, hosting the shooting dead of non-native pheasants…
