“The Olde House Farm Cottages are part of Penpont Farm, which has been in the Hawkey family for three generations…We operate an old fashioned mixed farm of 650 acres with beef, sheep and arable.” The business makes all the right noises (electric charging points, a purpose-built bird hide, ‘green holidays’ etc) but has been long thought to host meets of the North Cornwall Hunt – the Farm is about 12.5km from the hunt’s kennels in St. Breward. A supporter has now mailed us after finding the attached image from last winter of the hunt at the farm on a review website…
