Charles Russell Speechlys (CRS) is a law firm headquartered in London which claims”Knowing what matters. We are an international law firm with a focus on private capital at the intersection of personal, family and business.” We’re not even sure what means, but we do know that for reasons we can’t ascertain CRS – a huge firm with offices around the world – sponsored (ie helped to fund) a point to point fundraising day for the Old Berkshire Hunt in April 2024. The hunt isn’t amongst the storied current clients listed on the CRS website, so perhaps this ‘sponsorship’ was just a favour by an individual hunt-supporting lawyer and not indicative of hunt support amongst the company as a whole? We’d love to know…
