“Where Rustic Charm Meets Timeless Elegance…Experience Unforgettable Moments: Weddings, Events, and Glamping retreats Amidst Nature’s Splendor [sic]… A wedding or a break at The Dragons Gate is a chance to explore nature, and spend time with your loved ones.” That all sounds wonderful, but the whole ‘we love nature’ spiel is somewhat undermined by the fact the the business is managed by Cheryl Sparey (with her farmer husband), who is also one of the Admins of a private Facebook group run for the Cotswold Vale Farmers Hunt, who most certainly go in for a very different version of ‘explore nature’ that the rest of us might have in mind. They are the same hunt filmed blatantly cubbing in September 2023 by Cirencester Illegal Hunt Watch, for example. Ms Sparey sent a photo of her four year old child at a ‘Cotswold Vale Farmers Hunt children’s priority meet’ to the Countryside Alliance Hunting Facebook group – for obvious reasons we are not linking to that photo despite it being posted on a public page…
