Known locally as The Bhurty, the Bhurtpore Inn is “Situated in the rural countryside village of Aston, in Cheshire. Taken over by new owners February 2024. Known best for our delicious, home cooked dishes and extensive range of beer! We are dog friendly, family-run, and the newest place to be!” That last sentence is interesting as the Bhurty appears to indeed be ‘dog friendly’ and at least be the ‘newest place to be’ for the Cheshire Hunt/Hounds, who were found unboxing here in November 2024 by anti-hunt activists who say they hadn’t seen the hunt here before. The Hunt has lost a lot of land lately, so other ‘new owners’ might be getting a call soon as well…
