The winner of ‘England’s Favourite House’ in 2011, Eyford House was lauded by Country Life who noted that not only were the House’s grounds where “legend has it, John Milton began writing Paradise Lost” but “Just as captivating are the woodland and little valleys that…are perfect for a family shoot – adding to the considerable sporting appeal of being situated in the Heythrop Hunt’s Saturday country”. The House is only occasionally open to the public, but the owners are throwing the doors open in November 2024 to host a fundraiser for none other than – the Heythrop Hunt.
