Recognised as “one of the top Northern Ireland hotels with a reputation for excellence”, the award-winning Killyhevlin Hotel was also host of a fundraising Hunt Ball held by the Fermanagh Harriers in February 2023. Fox hunting is still legal in Northern Ireland so the Harriers can “thank local landowners and farmers for the use of their land for meets” without having to talk about non-existent ‘trail hunts’ or accidental kills. As The Impartial Reporter wrote somewhat partially, “A fantastic night was had by all who attended the annual Fermanagh Harriers’ Hunt Ball, a black-tie event which was hosted in the Killyhevlin Hotel, Enniskillen last Saturday night (February 11).”
