York Minster Refectory “has a daytime takeaway element and evening dining along with a mixture of smaller function, lounge and private dining options.” The food it serves apparently is “everything that is good about the food, drink, people and places of York and Yorkshire!” That apparently includes Red Grouse, shot on moorland that is widely-acknowledged as a raptor persecution hotspot and the place where birds of prey go to die…No, York Minster Refectory, there is nothing glorious about the Inglorious 12th.
