Wild Food People (Denbigh)

“Wild Food People is a brand operated by Original Outdoors…We deliver expert foraging and wild food training as part of our wider work managing habitats in North Wales. Every single one of our courses and events feeds back into improving those habitats, helping to provide healthy ecosystems for our local wildlife and communities.” When it comes to ‘helping to provide healthy ecosystems’ people’s interpretations clearly differ, but we just don’t understand how a website which on the one hand features a list of plant-based ‘foraging’ foods but on the other a series of podcasts with a duck shooter (the sole item listed under ‘Birds’ in the main menu), with participants at the Game Fair (“the UK’s biggest hunting festival”), and a look at pro-hunt, pro-cull TV ‘farmer’ Jeremy Clarkson, can really claim to be serious about wildlife. Like we say, interpretations differ…
