West Sussex Hunt Sabs stated that “The field headed to the Unicorn Inn at Heyshott for drinks and their official starting point” before heading off, which in the words of Brighton Hunt Sabs led to “Hounds running loose on the road in front of traffic; Quads with covered number plates driving on bridleways; Sabs covered the scent of a fox seen running from the hounds; Hounds chasing after deer.” Another typical day of hunt havoc then, hosted by the Unicorn and the locals…
