There is vey little ‘positive’ to say about the Talbot, as their website doesn’t actually give any information at all and their Facebook page describes the business as ‘pub’. One for the locals perhaps, then, who may – or may not – have been dismayed to learn that the Talbot would be “0pen from 10am serving DRINKS only!” on Boxing Day 2024. That’s because they would be far too busy helping the South Durham Hunt block the road outside their front door before going off looking for the local wildlife…
