“The beauty of our pub is its situation in the stunning Suffolk countryside” says The Lindsey Rose website. Part of the Nedging Hall Estate, the pub is run by Charles Buckle, part of the family who own the estate, and whose family has close ties with the notorious Essex and Suffolk Hunt: James Buckle was its long-serving Hunt Master until the 2024/25 season. The Lindsey Rose regularly hosts the Hunt, though surprisingly there is no mention of this on the pub’s website. The attached image was taken in November 2023 by Suffolk Action for Wildlife. Over two years later, in March 2026, a dwindling Essex and Suffolk were joined there again by a large contingent of monitors and sabs, including Suffolk Action for Wildlife, South Suffolk Hunt Sabs Group, South Norfolk Hunt Saboteurs, Norwich Hunt Saboteurs and North London Hunt Saboteurs,
