According to the Broadway Cotswolds website, the Bell is an “archetypal Cotswold stone-built pub [which] overlooks the Village Green and Duck Pond in the picturesque village of Willersey – often described as the most beautiful and natural village in the Cotswolds – giving it a timeless character…Willersey offers the perfect location for touring, whether by car, bicycle or on foot.” And on horseback? The Cotswolds is riddled with hunts, and the Bell apparently has no problem with that. Even though their website is (as of March 2025) under construction and has just a homepage up. one of three images on it is a banner image of a hunt (the North Cotswold?) milling around outside the Bell. A choice the owners would surely only make if they were proud of their links with something the vast majority of the public is opposed to…
