Does the ethics of an artist have an influence on whether you might buy their work or commission them? How about the very upfront bio of this Quantock Hills-based ‘sporting artist’? “Born in 1979 Teresa spent her early years drawing her menagerie of pets, riding her pony and accompaning [sic] her father shooting, beating and ferreting. A keen sports woman herself Teresa has enjoyed fox and stag hunting both on foot and on a horse, deer stalking around Great Britain including red stags in Scotland, Beating and photographing on pheasant and partridge shoots, boar shooting in deepest France, and not to mention fishing, both course and on the fly.” Like so very many people who like to kill wild animals, Ms Davis goes on to say “Her love of the coutryside [sic] it’s [sic] wildlife and also a love of art have combined [sic] to become a career.”
