“Summerleaze Equine Vets – a Modern, progressive equine practice with traditional client focused values.” Summerleaze look like a nice, friendly bunch. We will no doubt get complaints about this, but we have to question ‘modern, progressive’ when they put out a Facebook post which opens with “Great to see so many clients at the Seavington show today!” The show in question is a fundraiser for the recently-convicted Seavington Hunt, a hunt that in October 2024 was filmed blatantly killing a fox before one of its riders scooped up the body and threw the poor animal unceremoniously into a nearby stream, and the same hunt from which on 8 May 2025 Huntsman Duncan Cinnamond [the show is organised by the Seavington Hunt’s Billie-Ann Cinnamond] plead guilty to illegal fox hunting. How modern and progressive does that sound?
