Managed by Cheshire-based racehorse trainers Oliver Greenall and Josh Guerriero, Stockton Hall isn’t normally open to the public but the pair do occasionally throw open its doors – including for a fundraising ‘party’ for the notorious Wynnstay Hunt (with a pay bar which will tick off some of the hunt’s thirstier members), which was scheduled to be hosted there in March 2026. The trainers launched the North West National Hunt Racing Club in 2024, an initiative “providing behind-the-scenes access to the racing industry” – neatly demonstrating yet again the close ties between racing and illegal hunting.
