“Off-grid camping made simple… Long Meadow campsite is set within a secluded 400-acre working family farm. Located on the edge of the Cotswolds on the South Warwickshire border, it’s the perfect getaway from urban life.” Oddly while Shire Camping lists Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm under ‘Local Attractions‘ there is no mention of hunting – a miss, given that as reported by West Midlands Hunt Sabs, in September 2024 the Warwickshire Hunt met at Burland House Farm (that aforementioned ‘400 acre working family farm’) for a cubbing meet. Odder still given that Burland House Farm is owned by Harry Sewell, who is also the owner and sole director of Shire Camping Ltd. The Warwickshire are an extremely controversial hunt who did a ‘secret deal’ with Warwickshire Police after being slapped with a Community Protection Notice after years of causing road chaos and illegal hunting.
