Might those ‘horse owners’ include hunts? One of their vets, Andrew Crane, has been proudly stating on his bio that he “has three Irish geldings at home which hunt with him through the winter” so it seems likely. In fact, Mr Crane has been a Hunt Master with the Woodland and Albrighton Hunt since 2008 as noted in a 2021 Facebook post by Staffordshire Hunt Sabs
