Scarborough College is “a private coeducational day and boarding school aged 3–18 years in Scarborough”. Under ‘Vision, Mission Statement, and Aims’ the College says that it wants to ‘promote the acquisition and development of life-long values and ‘character’. One of the Directors of the College is farmer John Swiers, who was appointed in Feb 2019, five years to the day after taking up a Director role at the Derwent Hunt – the same hunt filmed trespassing in Chafer Wood a Yorkshire Wildlife Trust nature reserve, in January 2024.
