Taking over in December 2025, the new owners of the Robin Hood Inn say it is “Where countryside charm meets genuine hospitality…You’re welcomed not only by our warm atmosphere but also by our friendly bar and waiting team, always ready with a smile.” That smile, it turns out, was extended just weeks later to the notorious Albrighton and Woodland Hunt – who were given a Community Protection Warning in 2024 because of antisocial behaviour including trespass, lack of hound control, killing of a muntjac deer and killing of a fox. A Facebook post welcoming the hunt was taken down after the Inn received numerous bad reviews and the Inn deleted and removed any comments made about it. Not before a screenshot was taken of course. Perhaps the new folk ‘made a mistake’ supporting animal abuse that they won’t repeat? If that’s the case, please let us know…
