“Here at Rew Farm Country Accommodation we have everything you need for a comfortable, relaxed stay. As children and animal lovers ourselves we are thrilled to be able to offer a family/animal friendly holiday with DIY livery yard.” We’d be hard-pushed to accept the term ‘animal lover’ coming from a beef farm as it is, but definitely not from somewhere willing to host the notorious Royal Artillery Hunt. Having been given their marching orders from terrorising wildlife on Salisbury Plain it is disappointing that anyone would host this hunt – but as Salisbury Plain Hunt Sabs reported in November 2024, Rew Farm did indeed allow the Royal Artillery Hunt to meet and hunt on their land from 12 noon to 3.30. The sabs saw the hounds as they packed up and were pleased to see no blood, so do not believe – on this occasion – they killed. Rew Farm joins Coulston’s Stokes Marsh Farm and online fundraiser Jumblebee in helping keep this mob of hunters going…
