Under new management from March 2025, Worcestershire’s The Plume (as distinct from a pub with the same name once favoured by the Dartmoor Hunt in Devon) is “A cosy, countryside pub at the foot of the Malvern Hills with a child-friendly garden and welcoming atmosphere…We are a local family who have spent the last 10 years running an Equestrian Stud Farm here in Castlemorton.” Involved with horses, you say? That may explain why the notorious Ledbury Hunt met at the pub in January 2026 before going onto Castlemorton Common (where Three Counties Hunt Sabs regularly find them). Fortunately for us pro-wildlife folk, there are plenty of alternative venues in the area…
