Part of the Stout and Stone Inns chain, Wolverhampton’s Pigot Arms describes itself as a “warm and welcoming pub set in the rural village of Pattingham.” Taken on towards the end of 2024 by new managers Mike and Tina, Staffordshire Hunt Sabs reported in December 2024 that the pair “went along to the Albrighton Hunt and are now proudly boasting of the two new hunt pictures they won at the auction. An auction which was hosted to raise much needed funds for the Albrighton to be able to continue their organised crime of fox hunting.” Posts on the Pigot’s Facebook pages about the auction appear to have been removed but the pub is still giving its support to the notorious Albrighton (a hunt issued a Community Protection Warning in March 2024 for anti-social behaviour). Locals opposed to the Albrighton and Woodland Hunt reported that the Pigot Arms repeatedly hosted the Albrighton in 2025.
