“Pickwick Lodge Farm is a 17th Century Cotswold’s farmhouse, on 350 acres of pristine Wiltshire countryside. Our bed and breakfast is rated at four stars.” Many local residents are not quite as impressed as visitors to Corsham, given that in January 2026 Pickwick Lodge Farm hosted the notorious Gloucesterhire-based Beaufort Hunt, inviting them (in the words of Wiltshire Hunt Saboteurs who spent the day trying to stop the Beaufort from illegally hunting) “to churn up their countryside and hunt the wildlife here” while hunt supporters trespassed and damaged property.
