With “deep roots connected to horse racing” (which itself has deep roots in fox hunting), Nedging Hall Estate “is a family owned country estate in Suffolk. The Estate comprises of restaurants, pubs, country houses [Nedging Hall, a ‘holiday’ venue in ‘suffolk pink’, with a ‘Suffolk Barn’ also available to rent separately and apparently offering “a vast, blank canvas awaiting your creative touch”] and a brewery [Mauldons]. The Buckle family who owns the Nedging Hall Estate have “been in Suffolk since 1988” (which in historical terms is barely worth mentioning…) and run a hospitality business which has grown to include three pubs – The Brewery Tap, The Bilderston Crown and The Lindsey Rose. Both of the latter two pubs host the Essex and Suffolk Hunt, which until the 2024/25 ‘season’ boasted one James Buckle as its Senior Master. Another Estate Director, George Westwood, is also a member of the Essex and Suffolk.
