Mostyn Estates “combine commercial, residential and agricultural holdings in Llandudno with agricultural estates based round Rhewl and Tremostyn, Flintshire.” The business is owned by the Mostyn family who laid out Llandudno in 1849 and who leased most of the plots for development and influenced the building design and uses of the land. The Mostyns have a long history of philanthropy, which it appears they regularly lend nowadays to the Flint and Denbigh Hunt who have been noted many times on Mostyn Estates by North Wales Hunt Sabs, who, for example, caught them cub hunting on Mostyn Estates in 2024.
