On the top of Bodmin Moor and “Situated in a UNESCO World Heritage Site, Minions is the highest village in Cornwall. Our little shop and licenced tea room, is perfectly placed for your visit to Magical Minions.” Everyone loves a World Heritage Site and their ‘outstanding universal value’. Sites are often good for wildlife too, which presumably is what attracted the East Cornwall Hunt to the ‘little shop and tea rooms’ in November 2025 where supporters munched down sandwiches during a break from (cough) ‘trail hunting’. Heritage sites have legal protection under an international treaty and foxes are supposed to be protected from hunting with hounds by the Hunting Act 2004, but hunts in general often don’t seem bound by such niceties as ‘the law’….
