“The Lord Nelson provides the perfect backdrop for unforgettable events and functions, where the seamless blend of elegant decor, exquisite cuisine, and impeccable service ensures that every moment becomes a cherished memory.” That’s the sort of overblown tone that hunts like to think applies to them, so perhaps it’s little wonder that the Nelson is hosting a fundraising Ball for the Cresselley Hunt in November 2024. Formerly known as the South Pembrokeshire, the hunt has their kennels in Cresselley a mere fifteen miles down the road. They traditionally meet at the Cresselley Arms on Boxing Day before going off to hunt the westernmost part of South Wales.
