“Situated down a long tree-lined driveway just off the Cotswold Way, Laverton Hill Farm is an idyllic country farmhouse with a separate converted barn set within 250 acres of stunning farmland in the heart of the Cotswolds.” None of which would be especially relevant except that the entire farm is available on Airbnb – and, the hosts say, “For an additional cost, access can also be provided to neighbouring fields for weddings and private events, with incredible views over the Cotswolds.” What did owners charge the North Cotswold Hunt when they met there in November 2024, and when, as reported by Three Counties Hunt Sabs, the hunt allowed their hounds to run riot around the site, trespassed, and scared sheep on the land of a neighbour – or is it only holiday makers doing no harm whatsoever who have to pay for the privilege of visiting the place…
