The Lavender House Hotel website (which multiple browsers flag up as insecure) says “Make your dreams come true – Fully inclusive Wedding packages from £3700 – Ceremony, Reception food and drink”. Our dreams run to smaller figures than that, but more pertinently we wonder what they charged the Dartmoor Hunt to host their Ball in February 2023? We would ask, but past experience of asking questions like that suggests we won’t be told…Not content with hosting one hunt, the Lavender also welcomed the South Devon Hunt and their Masquerade Ball to a 3-course dinner in December at the tail end of the same year.
