So much of Scotland’s wildlife is up for sale to the gun-carrying tourist, and a quick look at the Kincraig’s “Things to do and places to visit in the Scottish highlands” proves that the Hotel is after a slice of the pie. “For shooting enthusiasts,” they say, “we have a close relationship with the Highland Shooting Centre…For the more serious shooter, they also have access to some excellent deer stalking and wild bird game shooting on neighbouring Estates.” Hotels serving up live targets to shooters – all so predictable, all so casual, all so depressingly ‘normal’…
