Chemical billionaire Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s Ineos owns or sponsors a vast range of sports teams (from Man Utd to the cyclists of Ineos Grenadiers). One of his pet projects is the Grenadier, a so far non-challenge to Land Rover. Ineos Automotive became a three year title sponsor for point-to-points (which are essentially fundraisers for hunts) in 2021 using the Grenadier, and is official 2024 ‘4×4 partner’ of The Game Fair, The National Shooting Show and the GWCT Scottish Game Fair – three shows that celebrate killing wildlife in ‘the countryside’.
