The Honeycombe Shoot covers nearly 4,000 acres of the Sherborne Castle Estate (which we have also listed). The website talks almost casually about a ‘really relaxing days shooting’ which means shooting “French [Red-legged] and English [Grey] partridges, pheasants and we even had woodcock [Red-listed in the UK as in danger of extinction] and snipe [Amber-listed as a species of conservation concern in the UK] later in the season giving good varied bags and some exciting shooting! These days are ideal for small teams of friends or individual guns.”
