A Camping and Caravanning Club Certificated Site (and listed on the UK Camping website), Grange Farm at Grandborough is “a quiet level 5 site with 5 electric hook ups…set on a working farm…dogs are welcome provided they are suitably controlled due to the livestock.” Does that caveat about dogs apply to the rampaging Warwickshire Hunt we wonder, because West Midland Hunt Sabs reported on Facebook that the Hunt met on the farm (owned by John Evans) in November 2024 before they “made their way over to Sidney and Joan Shipton’s Calcutt Spinney where they spent the next hour or so”? This part of the country is clearly to the liking of the Warwickshire (who in March 2024 became just the second hunt body to be charged under the Hunting Act): from Grange Farm it’s literally just a short walk across a field to the Shoulder of Mutton, a pub which hosted the Warwickshire Hunt in December 2023…
