“Hotel Gotham Newcastle is all about redefining hospitality, blending history with contemporary elegance in The Old Fire Station’s iconic setting. It’s not your average hotel; it’s an escape.” An escape it may be, but the Newcastle part of the Bespoke Hotel ‘collection’ was also being offered in a fundraiser for the notorious, lawbreaking and Wales-based Wynnstay Hunt in early 2025 – or more specifically as LOT 8 in an auction for the Wynnstay Hunt Ball 2025. We would ask, ‘What was the hotel thinking?’ but this poor decision will have been made by the donor – one Thomas Greenall, who was appointed CEO of the Bespoke Group in 2020 and is a long-time supporter of the Wynnstay.
