A 16th-century coaching inn (and part of the Coaching Inn Group), Ledbury’s Feathers Hotel is the regular Boxing Day meet of the Ledbury Hunt. In 2021, after pressure from Herefordshire Hunt Sabs, the Hotel was reported saying that “We are not involved in the hunt nor do we facilitate/host it. The hunt has set off from outside the hotel on the public land for many years and we have no power to stop them” yet the hotel’s Christmas brochure from 2020 sells meeting the Hunt as part of its Boxing Day ‘festivities’ (image attached). The Ledbury once again met outside the Feathers in 2023 according to an article in the Herefordshire Times.
