The Falcon Inn is “an impressive periodic detached pub situated in the heart of the village of Woore”. It’s also known for hosting the North Staffs Hunt, as angry comments on their (no longer active?) Facebook page point out. The Hunt met at the Falcon Inn on Boxing Day 2023 as the Staffordshire Hunt Sabs noted. A protest against the same meet was organised by Stoke-on-Trent Animal Rights who reported that “The Falcon Inn are once again hosting the hunt’s meet, serving bacon rolls from 10am before bidding the hunt farewell and wishing them luck.”
