“Set in the heart of The Exmoor National Park…The Exmoor White Horse Inn is a beautiful privately owned and run 16th Century Inn…Experience the peace and tranquility of Exmoor National Park. Leisurely ramble through its leafy wooded valleys, timeless waterfalls [sic] and extraordinary coastline.” Yet another hunt-supporting pub (and there are many) in what is supposed to be a ‘national park’. As Action Against Staghunting reported in December 2024, the White Horse hosted the Boxing Day meet of the appalling Devon and Somerset Staghounds. Giving any support to such a pack of abhorrent and violent individuals makes the White Horse’s explanation to visitors that “Care more for Exmoor means that you can enjoy Exmoor while doing something practical to help conserve, enhance and contribute to its protection” sound exceptionally hollow and hypocritical…
