“A small family run Welsh distillery…We are based just outside a village called Felinheli on an estate called “The Faenol” estate. An estate with royal history located on the beautiful banks of the Menai straits…” We all know that hunts and alcohol are a (worrying and dangerous) combination that go back into the murky mists of time – pubs are still loading up hunters with booze at hunt meets before they go off to terrorise the local wildlife – so perhaps North Wales’s Elevenses Distillery is hoping that it will be its spirits in the hip flasks of the Flint and Denbigh as they race around the countryside. Why else would they have sponsored a fundraiser for the hunt – which is based out of St Asapah an hour’s the east – in November 2024?
