Part of the huge Robinson’s Brewery chain (“With 250 pubs, inns & hotels across the North West, we have a pub for every mood”), Dusty Miller describes itself as dog-friendly and “a popular traditional country pub and restaurant situated on the Llangollen Canal in the rural village of Wrenbury…a fantastic canal side location. We also have a beer garden right on the canal path…”. Add to that beer garden a large car park, which is where Cheshire Indies found the Cheshire Hounds/Hunt – with attending quad bikes for the terriermen – meeting in early December 2024. The sign in the attached image states ‘Car Park for Patrons Only’: we do wonder whether Robinson’s thinks of hunts as ‘patrons’ and whether they condone hunts using their premises before going off to terrorise wild animals – so we will be writing to them to ask…
