“Hey there! We’re so glad you’ve stopped by our cozy family-run inn…Tucked away in the beautiful countryside, our British restaurant is the perfect spot to relax and enjoy some quality time with your favorite [sic] people.” That sounds great (and the reviews are generally good), but maybe not so great if your ‘favourite people’ don’t actually include people who have just spent the day putting bullets into the local wildlife. There are a plethora of shoots in the area flogging pheasants and partridges to shooters, and a look at the Cross Keys Facebook page suggests it is very proud of its hosting of shoot parties who’ve enjoyed what the pub terms #countrypursuits…
