He certainly appears to. Despite the Hall’s website stating that “The woodlands are managed to ensure we maintain the biodiversity of animals, wildflowers and insects that thrive here”, Chillington Hall is a huge shoot “and offers some of the very best driven partridge and pheasant shooting in Staffordshire” including “smaller days of 40-50 birds as well as bigger 100 or 200 bird days.” Outside the bird-killing ‘season’ the Giffards have hosted the Woodland and Albrighton Hunt.
