As Beds & Bucks Hunt Sabs put it in a Facebook post: “Not really sure how good family fun fits in with the wanton criminality of the Fitzwilliam Hunt.” Presumably the organisers of the Cambridgeshire County Show couldn’t care less that the Fitzwilliam’s thuggish huntsman Shaun Parrish will be in court – AGAIN – on a Hunting Act charge in June 2026. Shameful, really, but sadly typical of the misguided thinking of too many ‘summer shows’ that wildlife abuse is part of the ‘country way’ and should be promoted to its audience…
